Submissions

At Caving.UK we are always pleased to receive input from our visitors. If you would like to write for this site, then please do. Send us your expedition reports (complete with any photographs, surveys, etc.), enter the details of your caving club/accomodation, information on conservation, send us your caving pictures, personal details about yourself, or anything else you can think of.

These are our requirements:

All submissions, except the very shortest, should be sent on disk. We use Macintosh computers but can translate from most file types from most computers. Ideal formats to use are 3.5 inch floppy disks, Zip disks, CDs or e-mail. We can scan photographs but would ask that slides be put onto Photo CD (nearly all processing shops offer this service and it is inexpensive). If you send pictures in electronic form, please leave file compression to us unless you have no choice. Ideally send TIFF or maximum quality JPEG formats.

Of course, you don't have to be in the UK to get involved. We welcome input from anyone, anywhere.

Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope for any items you wish returned.

We reserve the right to refuse to publish material that may be offensive or deemed unsuitable.
